Chapter 4 Reflection

 


Question 1

What was one of your favorite books as a child? was it fiction or non-fiction? why did you like it? what is one of your favorite books today? it is fiction or non-fiction? why do you like it? did these books provide information or entertainment or a combination of both?

Answer

When I was a child I love books about Animals like mammals and dinosaurs, the book is non-fiction. I remember one book entitled 100 Knowledge about dinosaurs I very love them and I read it over and over at that time. and my favorite books for today are novel, technology, infrastructure, oceanography, and religion. I love them because there is a lot of information that makes me attractive to read them, and it entertains me at the same time when I read them.


Question 2

When you were a child, what was your favorite story? Was it the story that was read to you or was it one that you read yourself? Who were the main characters? was it real or a made-up story? what made it interesting?

Answer

When I was a child there are many stories I read but mostly fairy takes stories like Kancil, Snow White and seven dwarfs, jack and the beanstalks, ant and the grasshopper, and Romeo and Juliet stories. I think all of us quite familiar with this story and everyone definitely know who is the main character. Why it makes me interested because I very love fantasizing it's like I explore my Imagination when I read it.


Question 3

Besides these books, what different pieces of non-fiction have you read in the last 24 hours? did you read an article from a newspaper, magazine, or website? did you read the recipes or bus schedules? what did you read in English? What did you read in another language?

What are the different pieces of non-fiction that young children would be interested in?

Answer

I just read the news about the FIFA World Cup on the website of BBC news last night.

The different pieces of non-fiction for children are the discussion is not heavy, easy for children to catch the information with pictures to give them an image to get the information that the book discusses such as the book discusses solar system thereby the book should have the pictures of the planets and easy to figure out by young learners to get the information if the children read without a picture in the book make them feel bored and hard for them. that is the difference.


Question 4

Think about how you learned to read. Do you remember reading with your parents? what does your reading the book look like? did your parents help you with reading? did you know to read at school? was reading the essay difficult for you? what made it easy or difficult?

Answer

When I was young, my parents taught me to read simple sentences in a book, my father bought it for me and my parent taught me to read very strictly, fortunately, I was able to read in school better than my friends that same age with me, and that time essay is too hard to me because I difficult to understand and I need to read it a couple of time to understand it clearly because there is words or vocabulary that strange in my ear and I never heard it before.


Question 5

Write down three or four words that are important to you today.

Now write down three or four words that were important to you when you were a child. think about why these words were Important.

if you were a young learner today, would you be likely to remember the words? why or why not?

Answer

Struggle, I wish, Bless, and Commitment.

why these words are very important to me because this is the purpose of living. Struggle you can fight to survive to live to get anything in your goal because life is a race, I wish is the plan of what I want to be, Bless is we always remember that all in our life is belong to God and we must share it and be bless everyone too, and commitment it is how we stand in our ways without cares what it takes and stand firm on life purpose.
